The newest regime for the Atlanta Falcons has taken shape. New head coach Raheem Morris was introduced on Monday and brought passion and energy to the presser. Morris plans to instill a culture of toughness and resolve that the franchise has lacked the last several season as their playoff draught has reached six years.
Former Falcons’ GM Thomas Dimitroff joined Dukes & Bell Tuesday to discuss the state of the team. He knows what it is like to have the team humming as he was at the helm when the team reached its apex at the Super Bowl seven season ago. One topic he made clear is that as a talent evaluator it’s incredibly difficult to judge long-term passion for the team. He mentioned one-time standouts Vic Beasley & Takk McKinley. The Falcons will now be tasked of attempting to judge the passion of their QB 1.
Terry Fontenot, the current GM, now has the green light to lead this team in his true vision after Rich McKay was moved to the Atlanta United side of AMBSE. There are a lot of positive pieces in place to regain the form that Dimitroff set up all those years ago.
