The NFL draft is only a few weeks away and the Falcons own the eighth overall pick. It’s still a complete mystery where the team may go with it. Dukes & Bell talked about how the Falcons could go quarterback as they are meeting with three different quarterback prospects this week.

Dukes talked about the three quarterbacks that are visiting the Falcons.
“The biggest investment on your team is no longer there. I don’t want to do that at 8, but I understand why you might and it makes sense,” Dukes said. “All three of these quarterbacks are coming in this week Matt Corral, Malik Willis, and now we find out Sam Howell’s gonna stop by as well. So the Falcons are going to meet with all three of these guys.”
Carl said visiting with the quarterbacks could be a smokescreen.
“I’ve been saying this, Malik Willis I think is going to be the first quarterback taken," Dukes said. "I know Kenny Pickett is probably rated higher and everybody thinks he may have a bigger upside, I think it’s Malik Willis I think his upside is higher. I’m curious to see what happens in these meetings with these teams and whether they impress the Panthers or they impress us, however it shakes out.
"But we’re meeting with all three and part of this is yes we want to see what the situation is, we have to at least even if we don’t go quarterback and I’m not telling you that we want because that I think there’s a really good chance we will. Have to make teams believe we are and if they are maybe we can do some of this stuff you guys want in these mock drafts which never seemingly play out which is we go back, we add picks, we get more and all of a sudden now it’s a completely different draft than what we expected.”
