Trae as a facilitator brings out the best in the Hawks

There have been some questions recently about the Hawks ability to win when Trae Young doesn't go off, but last night they beat the Pacers with just 14 points from Trae, although he did tally a season-high 16 assists.

Atlanta Hawks General Manager Travis Schlenk spoke with Trae Young after the game and felt it was one of his finest performances of the season.

"He gets a ton of attention, teams are running double teams at him, and I thought it was one of the best game I'd ever seen him play," says Schlenk. "His ability to make plays out of double teams, move the ball, a lot of our shots were wide open and we have good shooters on this roster.

The Hawks victory moved them to 38-37, the first time the team has been above .500 since December 9th. They currently sit a half a game behind Charlotte for the #9 seed and 1 game back of Brooklyn for the 8th seed.
