Vice President Kamala Harris is on the campus of Morehouse College in Atlanta this afternoon for a conversation with HBCU students. The event is expected to start at approximately 1:20 pm est.
It's part of Harris' nationwide "Fight For Our Freedoms" initiative.
Harris is meeting with students from HBCUs including Morehouse, Spelman, Morris Brown, and Clark Atlanta. White House officials say Harris will talk with the students about key issues that impact young voters disproportionately.
It is Harris' fifth stop on the tour.
When Air Force 2 touched down at 11:50 am at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, Harris was greeted by U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, Rep. Nikema Williams, and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens.
Following the meeting with the students, Harris is scheduled to attend a fundraising event in Atlanta.
