A woman is in custody following a triple shooting in midtown Atlanta Monday.
Initial reports indicated that the first shooting happened around 1:45pm at 1280 West Peachtree Street. Two people were shot at that location. One died.
A second shooting occurred at 1100 Peachtree Street. That person also died.
A massive police presence had been centered in an around the area with police urging the public to stay away from the area.
The suspect, identified as a lone black female, was taken into custody at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
