Falcons defense has been 'the biggest surprise this season'

Falcons defense not taking step back despite no Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr.

Following their Week 3 win over the Green Bay Packers, the Atlanta Falcons have turned the page and have begun preparing for their Week 4 divisional matchup against the New Orleans Saints, and thanks to the game taking place on Monday, October 5, the Falcons have some extra time to get ready for their NFC South rival.

While discussing what they expect to see from the Falcons next week, 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes, also explained why he believes Atlanta’s defense has been “the biggest surprise” of Atlanta’s season thus far. “With no JPJ [James Pearce Jr.] and no Jalon Walker,” Dukes said, of the Falcons playing without Walker, who suffered a season ending injury during training camp, and Pearce Jr., who is currently serving an eight-game suspension.
