October baseball is here, and the Atlanta Braves are officially headed to the postseason.
Major League Baseball has announced the broadcast schedule for the 2026 Wild Card Series, with all four best-of-three matchups beginning Tuesday, September 29. For Atlanta fans, the Braves will enter the postseason as the No. 3 seed and host either the Arizona Diamondbacks or Philadelphia Phillies in the opening round.

The Wild Card round runs Tuesday through Thursday, with every game available across NBC Sports platforms. This year’s postseason also marks the return of MLB playoff baseball to NBC for the first time since the 2000 American League Championship Series.

The Braves will open their Wild Card Series at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 29, with Game 1 airing on NBC and Peacock.
Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 at 2 p.m. ET, also on NBC and Peacock.
If the best-of-three series requires a deciding Game 3, it is currently scheduled for Thursday, October 1. Under the initial four-game schedule, Atlanta would again play at 2 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Thursday’s Game Time Could Change
Braves fans will want to pay attention if the series reaches Thursday.
MLB’s schedule includes several possible time changes depending on which of the four Wild Card matchups require a Game 3. Atlanta’s potential deciding game could remain at 2 p.m. or move to 8 p.m. ET under certain scenarios. If only one Game 3 is necessary across all four series, MLB says that game will be played at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Full MLB Wild Card Lineup
In addition to Atlanta’s series, the opening round includes the Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs at San Diego Padres, and Chicago White Sox at either the Texas Rangers or Houston Astros. The matchups will air across NBC, Peacock and NBC Sports Network.
