Braves need starting pitching but trading for Tarik Skubal too pricey

After their 1-0 loss to the San Diego Padres last night the Atlanta Braves have lost eight of their last 11 games, and no longer have the best record in Major League Baseball, and with the recent injuries to their star right fielder and lead off hitter Ronald Acuña Jr. and starting pitcher Spencer Strider the Braves are in need of some reinforcements.

Earlier today the Morning Shift talked about what they think Braves General Manager Alex Anthopoulos needs to add to the team before the MLB trade deadline, explained why they think the Braves must add starting pitching and another bat before the deadline, and talked about how they think trading for Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal will probably be too pricey.
