Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan explained why they think the Atlanta Falcons 35-14 win over the Green Bay Packers last night in Lambeau Field on primetime on Thursday Night Football was a “season changing” win.
“It was a season changing victory. It was an era changing victory in so many different ways for what we’ve thought about the Falcons over the last couple of weeks. It reenergized this entire fan base. We went from having zero hope to anything is possible, like anything at this point.” Mike Johnson said
It already felt like this was a must win game for the Falcons if they were going to be relevant this season, but for Atlanta to beat the Packers so handedly in Lambeau, in primetime on Thursday Night Football it was exactly what the Falcons fan base needed to re-gain hope and optimism for this season.
