Earlier today The Morning Shift reacted to the news that the Atlanta Falcons have sent a 2027 sixth-round draft pick to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for offensive tackle Wanya Morris and a 2027 seventh-round selection, and explained why they think Morris can be more than just a swing tackle for the Falcons this season.
“He’s like the ultimate swing offensive lineman. He reminds me a lot of Elijah Wilkinson, he can play the guard position and he can play the tackle position.” Beau Morgan said
With the Falcons placing Storm Norton, who was supposed to be their swing tackle, on the PUP list and now being without him for the entire season Atlanta was in need of a versatile offensive lineman and the 2023 third round pick who was looking for a fresh start could be exactly that for the Falcons this year.
