Francis Bean shared a series of photos showing off the brand new babe, born on September 17, on Instagram, including one of him being held by his father, which she shared on her Instagram Story accompanied by the John Lennon song, "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy).”

"Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk," she wrote in the caption, revealing the baby boy’s name. "Welcome to the world most beautiful son. We love you more than anything.”

Tony Hawk, or should we say Grandpa Hawk, joined in on celebration in the comments section, "My favorite grandson!"

Harper Grohl, who is also a member of the famous father club, her father being Nirvana alum Dave Grohl, also left some love in the comments with heart and teary, smiling emojis. Meanwhile Frances Bean's godfather, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, wrote, “With all the love and energy in the whole world."

Frances Bean Cobain is the only child of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain. She and Hawk’s eldest son, also a professional skateboarder, began dating in early 2021. Confirming their relationship in a Instagram post shared on January 1, 2022, Francis reflected on the "great amount of joy" she experienced that past year in her caption. The couple married in October 2023, making it his first marriage and her second, having previously married musician, Isaiah Silva in 2014, filing for divorce in 2016.

Kurt Cobain died by suicide in 1994 when his daughter was only 20 months old. Reflecting on the 30th anniversary of his death this past April with a post on Instagram, Francis wrote "I wish I could've known my Dad. I wish I knew the cadence of his voice, how he liked his coffee or the way it felt to be tucked in after a bedtime story. I always wondered if he would’ve caught tadpoles with me during the muggy Washington summers, or if he smelled of Camel Lights & strawberry nesquik (his favorites, I've been told).”

Alongside baby photos of her with her dad, and some throwback pics of a young Kurt, Francis went on reflecting. "But there is also deep wisdom being on an expedited path to understanding how precious life is,” she continued. "He gifted me a lesson in death that can only come through the LIVED experience of losing someone. It's the gift of knowing for certain, when we love ourselves & those around us with compassion, with openness, with grace, the more meaningful our time here inherently becomes."

Going on to share that her father wrote her a letter before she was born that ended with the message, "Wherever you go or wherever I go, I will always be with you.”

"He kept this promise because he is present in so many ways," she said. "Whether it's by hearing a song or through the hands we share, in those moments I get to spend a little time with my dad & he feels transcendent."
