A two-year-old Chihuahua from Oak Ridge, New Jersey is the newest viral shelter pup looking for his furever home.

A funny and rather unique adoption post written by his foster parents have made Prancer, a 13-pound Chihuahua, an overnight star, describing him as “a vessel for a traumatized Victorian child."

In the post, the current owners warn, "It probably won’t be love at first sight at least on his part, and he need some patience to earn his trust in order to see his sweet side underneath the 'tough guy' attitude he invokes when scared.”

They continue by describing the pup as a "neurotic, man hating, animal hating, children hating" dog.

"Every day we live in the grips of the demonic Chihuahua hellscape he has created in our home. If you own a Chihuahua you probably know what I'm talking about. He's literally the Chihuahua meme that describes them as being 50% hate and 50% tremble," the post continued.

Prancer was previously owned by an elderly woman who failed to socialize him as a young age, resulting in his “nervous” and “untouchable” behavior.

The post is accompanied by adorable photos of the furry friend with pointed ears and an enduring big-eyed gaze.

Despite his quirks, Prancer has a “sweet side underneath” and is a “dedicated best friend and sidekick.”

Those patient enough to take on the adorable pooch can apply on the Petfinder website HERE.
