
For the first time in almost 20 years, Folk/Rock icon Neil Young gifted fans a rare performance of his 2000 single “Silver & Gold” over the holiday.

Penned almost two decades before its official release on Young's 2000 album of the same name, the 1981 track "Silver & Gold" has rarely made an appearance on the rocker's setlists over his years on the road, and was last performed at 2007's Farm Aid.
"Sending love," Neil captioned his clip posted to social media on Christmas Day, December 25, showing him sitting beside a cozy fire while strumming and singing the tune. “Is that our first fireside session?” he asks at the end.
