Antonio Brown continues to troll Tom Brady. The erratic wideout’s latest shenanigan involves posting a screenshot of a heartfelt text that Brady apparently sent him a year-and-a-half ago, pleading with his now-former friend to get his life together.

The text is from May 2021, just three months after the Buccaneers knocked off the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Brown, whom Brady recruited to Tampa Bay, signed a one-year deal to remain with the team that April.

Brown’s encore act with the Bucs wound up being a disaster, and ended with him abandoning his teammates at MetLife Stadium — while stripping down on his way off the field.

Months earlier, Brady sounded the alarm about Brown’s antics. Obviously, Brown didn’t heed Brady’s advice.

“You are demonstrating very poor decisions and poor communication to so many people who have gone above and beyond to help you,” wrote Brady. “You are acting selfish and unfortunately many of those people are exhausted by the erratic and unpredictable emotional behavior.”

Brady adds that Brown was “humble, willing to learn, and anxious to improve things in his life” when they first met, but is no longer that way.

Upon further review, the text seems legitimate, since the gray bubble indicates Brown received it from Brady. Brady's green bubble indicates he's either blocked Brown's number, or doesn't own an iPhone (I'll go with the former.

Brady resuscitated Brown’s NFL career when he pushed for the Patriots to acquire him in September 2019 after he facilitated his exit from the Raiders with multiple bizarre outbursts, including a verbal altercation with former general manager Mike Mayock.

After joining the Patriots, one of Brown’s ex-trainers accused him of rape. Despite that horrific allegation, Brown made his Patriots debut and caught a touchdown against the Dolphins.

The Patriots released Brown the following week, sending him into a tailspin. The NFL suspended Brown for eight games in July 2020 due to multiple violations of the league’s personal conduct policy. While he was accused of everything from stiffing workers to farting in a doctor’s face, the NFL suspended Brown for burglary and battery charges and accusations he sent intimidating texts to a woman who accused him of sexual assault.

Brown started attacking Brady last January, shortly after his exit from Tampa Bay. The wideout blamed Brady for making him play on an incentive-laden deal and accused Alex Guerrero of ripping him off. But then the attacks became increasingly personal.

Most recently, Brown has been harassing Brady over his split with Gisele Bundchen.
