The Isley Brothers know how to make an entrance. The pop legends announced the Dolphins second-round selection Friday, and strutted to the podium on their own time.
At one point, a stage manager intervened and pointed the duo towards the microphone. The Rock and Rock Hall of Famers had been standing together for approximately 15 seconds.
It took them another 10 seconds to actually make their way over there.
“It’s our new record,” said Ron Isley.
The pair then announced Miami’s pick, Oregon safety Jevon Holland, into microphones that were raised too high.
Maybe we would've heard them better if they threw their hands up and shouted.
Now the only question is, how come the Isley Brothers didn’t perform Thursday instead of Kings of Leon? Their 50 seconds together might be some of the most entertaining in draft history.
