There’s a reason why they call him “Joe Cool.”

After leading the Cincinnati Bengals over the Kansas City Chiefs for a trip to the Super Bowl, Joe Burrow arrived for his postgame press conference sporting a Nike “JB” diamond necklace.

Of course, one reporter had to ask if those were indeed real diamonds.

“They’re definitely real,” Burrow said. “I think I make too much money to have fake ones. So, these are real.”

Through two seasons in the NFL, Burrow has made $26.8 million of his four-year, $36 million rookie contract (most of which came from his $23.8 million signing bonus).

He also has endorsement deals with Nike and Bose that pay him a decent amount, too, so you can bet Joey B ain’t messing around with any fake diamonds.

After this playoff run, Burrow may be in line for a bigger contract and more endorsement deals, which could buy him plenty more real diamonds.
