Perk was bumblin’ and stumblin’ his way through Thursday night’s draft coverage again.

Last season, Kendrick Perkins made headlines after butchering the pronunciation of Warriors first-round pick Moses Moody at No. 14 overall. After the Indiana Pacers drafted Bennedict Mathurin No. 6 overall Thursday night, Perk compared him to Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby.

Only Perk couldn’t pronounce Anunoby’s name right. It sounded closer to Manu Ginobili.

ESPN host Malika Andrews made sure to rib Perk for his tongue-twister mistake and made a reference to his Moody gaffe from last season, which has become the inspiration for T-shirts in the Bay Area and beyond.

Thursday night's wasn't as bad, but there's definitely a draft night pattern developing.

Warriors fans had to have immediately thought of Moody, so good on Andrews for bringing it back up in real-time. Perkins has been a target of criticism from the Warriors this offseason too, whether it be Draymond Green or Draymond’s mom.

Perk didn’t have the smoothest broadcast Thursday night. He also slightly fumbled an idiom earlier in the broadcast, saying, “Another man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

ESPN probably loves Perk’s pronunciations, as there’s no better free marketing than memes.
