Fans are back at baseball games this year, but that does not mean they are going to get along with one another.
During the sixth inning of Wednesday's game between the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres, there was an incident in the stands between one lone Padres fan and a handful of Rockies fan.
While we are not sure what precipitated the incident, a man in a Padres jersey is seen walking toward another fan, who stands up before he is clocked with a right hook to the face.
The Rockies fan immediately fell to the ground, but other Rockies fans began jumping the seats and began wailing on the Padres fan who threw the punch.
The ugly incident was captured on film and made its way around social media Thursday afternoon.
According to TMZ Sports, the cops soon arrived although no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for the Denver Police Dept. told TMZ that the man who was knocked out, who seems to be OK, declined to press charges against the fan who threw the punch.
As for the game itself, the Rockies would defeat the Padres, 3-2, in extra innings.
