Listeners of On Point with Juandolyn Stokes are invited to a mass wedding! Atlanta Mayor, Andre Dickens will officiate the "Marry We" ceremony on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2023 at Piedmont Parks, Greystone Building.
This event is anticipated to be one of the largest mass weddings to take place in Atlanta and it is especially for couples who are engaged or married who do not want typical nuptials or vow renewal ceremonies.
"We are hoping only love will be in the air, no rain," said event coordinator, Crystal Love.
Those who are participating in the mass wedding will also be included in the reception with entertainment and dancing, dinner, an open bar, and dessert; The cost of marriage license is included in package. A complimentary wedding portrait will be given to each couple. The total cost for "Marry We" is $1,000 and is open to all couples, of all nationalities, religions, and sexual orientations.
According to Love, Mayor Dickens is very excited about participating in Mass Wedding as the Officiant.
