Gospel Recording artist, Latrice Pace joined On Point with Juandoyn Stokes to talk about her new album, “Exodus: The Journey of Obedience Vol 2” to be released on July 14 and her baking business,” Treecie Treats.”
Pace comes from a rich family legacy. She is a multi-faceted entrepreneur, author, educator, and artist.
“God gave me the song in 2017: “The mourning is over, now it’s morning” before we experienced the loss,” said Pace.
Pace says getting through tough times is much easier when you remember God is Love and staying connected to the love source helps you stay connected.
She began her baking business, Treecie Treats, after she baked a Red Velvet cake from a recipe she got from her older sister, Niecey. The onslaught of compliments motivated her to start her business immediately.
“It makes me happy to get in the kitchen and create,” she added.
Baking has become a go-to therapy along with a beloved tradition, it helps caregivers and families to cope.
” We have to be ok with not being ok,” said Pace.
