On Point with Juandolyn Stokes welcomed the producer, Grits Carter of the romantic comedy, “Never Alone for Christmas” starring BET’s Sistas star, Mignon Von, and R&B artist Macy Gray.
This movie is set in Cajun country, Louisiana and it’s complete with all the feelings of family, love, and gumbo your heart desires.
“Behind the scenes of this Cajun Christmas it’s like Mardi Gras and Christmas,” said Carter.
According to Carter, it gets into the meaning of Christmas and the meaning of love.
“We wanted to highlight love, Christmas and family and Macy [Gray] brings good wholesomeness. She reminds me of my mother, “ added Carter.
The movie opens nationwide, Friday November 3.
“I recommend people go see,” said Carter. But he warns: “It will make you hungry. You’ll have to get a bowl of gumbo after the movie.”
