Salute to Selma Women's March 2020 The National Pan Hellenic (NPHC) member groups all came together in Selma, Alabama, to commemorate the 55th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday and the Voting Rights Act.

More than 3,000 packed the auditorium of Selma High School for the Divine Nine Ecumenical Service. V-103/WAOK News & Public Affairs Director Maria Boynton was the mistress of ceremony and, in her opening remarks, pressed the importance of voting.

The purpose of the service was for the Divine Nine to come together and pay homage to those who fought for voting rights for African Americans. They also challenged everyone to return to their communities and push for a large turnout at the polls and participation in the U.S. Census.
