The Miss Corporate America pageant aims to address systemic barriers that have historically limited women, particularly those from underrepresented communities, from reaching key roles in corporate America. The competition focuses on creating opportunities for women to showcase their leadership skills and encourages the development of more inclusive workplace environments.
Dr. Mohair emphasized the importance of mentorship and sponsorship in helping women succeed in their careers. The pageant will provide a platform for women to connect with mentors and gain the guidance and resources necessary to advance in business.
The initiative also seeks to address persistent issues like the gender pay gap and advocate for fair workplace policies, such as flexible work schedules and paid maternity leave.
