Recently on The WAOK Morning Show, special guest host Dr. Dee Dawkins-Haigler spoke with founder of the Leadership Experience Tour, Shawn Fair to discuss his platform dedicated to aspiring speakers. The Leadership Experience Tour is a three-day program held in Troy, Michigan, designed to equip participants with the skills needed for successful public speaking.
Mr. Fair explained that the program features an audition process for potential speakers, allowing them to showcase their abilities through an online submission followed by a virtual audition. Those selected receive comprehensive training in branding, media presentation, and performance techniques to prepare them for paid speaking opportunities.
Additionally, Mr. Fair highlighted his involvement with the Miss Corporate America competition, which celebrates women in the corporate space. The competition has been running for 17 years and provides a platform for participants to showcase their achievements and leadership skills. State competitions lead up to a national event in Orlando, Florida.
