On Point with Juandolyn Stokes welcomed her partners, Elizabeth Wilson and Sonya Bates who are both are part of Stoke’s new initiative, “Women 360,” which seeks to join women entrepreneurs to help each other succeed in business.
The Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN), a 25-year-old business development company is launching “Women 360” on Tues. August 29 at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE Center) at 504 Fair Street, Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. The response has been overwhelming therefore guests are encouraged to bring their own chair as they learn more mental health, health and wellness, and business opportunities.
There will also be other industries and sectors represented at this event, which is designed to focus on developing resources for entrepreneurs, increase businesses digital presence, and provide technical assistance.
“This is a great fit for all women,” said Stokes.
GMEN will also identify grant opportunities for entrepreneurs who are forced to choose between maintaining their homes or their commercial businesses. Help is available for rental or mortgage assistance as well as utility assistance.
GMEN is presenting several guest speakers from the general contracting sector, mental health and wellness, and others.
