After years of educating and empowering the Metro Atlanta community through her hit radio show Real Estate 101, industry veteran Mary Gill is taking her passion for real estate education live once again. Ms. Gill announced during a recent broadcast that her long-awaited Homebuyer Seminar will take place January 24th at the Smyrna Community Center, marking her first in-person event since before the pandemic.

Known for her engaging teaching style and deep well of real estate knowledge, Mary Gill has built a career helping first-time buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the complex world of property ownership. With 20 years in the business, she continues to use her platform to help families make informed decisions that build long-term wealth.

“This is my 20th anniversary year in real estate,” MS. Gill shared proudly on air. “I can’t believe how fast it’s gone—but what a blessing it’s been to share this knowledge with my community and help people protect themselves and their investments.”

The upcoming seminar is designed to do just that—equip attendees with the tools, resources, and insider information they need to buy, sell, or invest in property with confidence. Gill promises a powerhouse lineup of experts who regularly join her on Real Estate 101, including Billy Whitley of Southeast Mortgage, attorney Althea Debar-Johnson (who will discuss probate and title protection), and Silas Frazier Realty, who will cover property management and investment strategies. Attendees can also expect insights from home inspectors, closing attorneys, and other real estate professionals.

“This event is about helping you plan your path,” Ms. Gill explained. “Whether you’re buying your first home, turning your property into an investment, or preparing for your next move, we’ll show you how to make smart, strategic decisions that work for your family.”

Ms. Gill also reminded listeners to think ahead financially—especially as tax season approaches. “If you’re expecting a tax refund, don’t spend it,” she urged. “That could be your down payment on a new home.”

The Real Estate 101 Homebuyer Seminar will feature interactive discussions, vendor tables, and plenty of prizes and giveaways—something fans of Gill’s past seminars will remember fondly. But this time, seats are limited. The Smyrna Community Center offers an intimate setting with only 200 seats available, and tickets are just $25 per person. Proceeds will help cover venue and material costs.

“It’s small, it’s personal, and it’s going to be fun,” Ms. Gill said. “We’re going to learn, laugh, and grow together.”
