
Fulton County Solicitor General, Keith E. Gammage, wants to wipe out hundreds of misdemeanor records with hopes of preparing residents for gainful employment.
Over the years Gammage has shared that his goal is to obtain intelligent, fair, and restorative justice by pursuing a holistic, progressive approach to the criminal justice system.
In the next few months, his goal is to expunge at least 300 records by June 19th, which also happens to be Juneteenth is also known as Freedom Day. Juneteenth celebrates the emancipation of slaves in the United States.
Any Fulton county residents interested in the expungement program must register at www.fultonrestorativejustice.org on or before Friday, May 20th.
