Young author, Mark Sanders was a guest on OPWJS where he shared with Juandolyn his motivation for writing his first book, Knocking Greatness out of the Park at 9-years-old. The book is about a 6-year-old boy who learns the key concepts of greatness, hard work and dedication. The 3rd grader also said he was motivated by the lack of representation in books where the characters look like him; therefore, he wrote his own book. Mark is a digital learner in Gwinnett County Public Schools who likes to read every day.
