The sessions delve into various subjects, including fostering respectful interactions with law enforcement, nurturing strong parent-child relationships, dressing for professional success, and promoting financial literacy.

This year's MLK Impact Day is expected to promote the much-appreciated unity among the residents. Ms. Burgess confirmed that valuable community resources will be available at the event, stating, "We have the Douglas County Task Force on Family Violence, the Share House that will be on site to answer questions and offer support." The sessions offered will cover a wide range of topics including mental health, substance abuse awareness, and personal finance education, catering to both students and the broader community.
