Baby killed in cross fire of NW Atlanta shooting

The infant's mother says the baby was in the backseat when bullets from 2 cars rang out

A 6-month old baby is dead after being caught in the cross fire of a shooting Monday in Northwest Atlanta. It happened on Anderson Avenue NW near KIPP Academy.

The infant was identified as Grayson Mathew. His mother reportedly said she was caught between two vehicles that were firing shots and that a bullet went through the trunk of her car hitting little Grayson. He was in the back seat.

Police are looking for the shooting suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
