Recently on The Rashad Richey Morning Show, widely recognized as "Hurtt Dad" for his viral social media videos featuring his twin sons, Jerron Hurtt appeared to discuss his ongoing custody battle and the controversy surrounding his online presence.

Through a contentious custody battle that has both captivated and troubled many, Mr. Hurt, known for his family-focused videos that gained widespread popularity during the pandemic, now faces accusations of exploiting his children.

During the interview, Mr. Hurt detailed the challenging circumstances that began when his ex-partner left their family home shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. He explained that following the separation, he experienced harassment from his ex-partner's new partner, prompting him to seek legal protection for his children.

Mr. Hurt's social media content, which has been praised for showcasing positive interactions between him and his sons, has faced scrutiny. Allegations of child exploitation have been made against him, which Mr. Hurt disputes, arguing that his videos, intended to capture everyday family life, have been wrongly interpreted as exploitative. This situation has impacted both his custody arrangement and financial situation.

Throughout the interview, Mr. Hurt expressed frustration with the responses from child protective services (CPS) and the guardian ad litem involved in his case. He stated that his efforts to present evidence regarding his children's well-being during visits with their mother were not adequately addressed by these agencies.

In response to his personal challenges, Mr. Hurt has initiated The Hurt Fathers Advocacy program, aimed at assisting other fathers facing similar legal and personal difficulties.
