The reality of assisting our scholars and our community is a huge deal, according to Dr. Rashad. The show today was a show of giving, being the change we want to see and not just saying! As National Women's History Month draws to a conclusion, Dr. Rashad and the WAOK family had the privilege of honoring a young man.

Mr. Samuel Scott, a soon-to-be doctor, is one of the many engaged and helpful members who fully utilized the opportunity to work with the Morehouse School of Medicine by learning about it on the Rashad Richey Morning Show and completing the task at hand successfully. Mr. Samuel Scott stated, "I took accelerated courses. It took a year. I passed every subject with an A." Given his dedication to his purpose, it is not surprising that Mr. Samuel was able to pass unnoticed by so many influential people. Because this young man had a small obstacle preventing him from finishing his path to a PHD, Dr. Rashad continued to emphasize his story. 5,700 dollars.

Dr. Richey also holds additional research PhDs from Business University of Costa Rica and Western Orthodox University in Philosophy and Religious Studies. He is currently in Law School completing his Juris Doctor degree at Birmingham School of Law.
