This week on, On Point with Juandolyn Stokes, Juandolyn was joined Imara Canady, Chair of the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition and Nathan Hale Williams, Director of All Boys Aren't Blue: A Memoir-Manisfesto, a film adaptation of the book written by George M. Johnson which aired virtually on Feb. 8.
This virtual event supports awareness for AHF's National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (February 7). The film covers topics of gender identity, toxic masculinity, family, brotherhood, structural marginalization, consent, and Black joy. Canady says this is not the typical virtual event; it is a cinematic experience.
