The chapter has been especially active this holiday season with a number of outreach initiatives. Recently, members visited senior citizens in Conyers, bringing gifts and spending time with the elderly. They also hosted a special event at Fairington Elementary School, where they provided students with gift bags filled with snacks and clothing, along with a hot cocoa bar. These events are part of the chapter's larger mission to give back to the community and make a positive impact.

In addition to its holiday activities, the chapter is preparing for some of its signature events in the coming months. Ms. Hull-Simon also highlighted the chapter's upcoming Homecoming Celebration in January, which will serve as a reunion for former members to reconnect and engage in service activities.

She also provided updates on the chapter's scholarship program. High school seniors in the area are currently able to apply for scholarships, with the deadline set for February 15. Last year, the chapter awarded $50,000 in scholarships, and they hope to offer a similar amount next time. She also discussed the chapter's College Tour, which will take place in spring 2025. The tour will visit a range of colleges, including historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), giving students the opportunity to explore various higher education options.

Ms. Hull-Simon emphasized the chapter's continued dedication to community service and youth empowerment, highlighting programs such as the Delta Academy. She encouraged listeners to stay connected with the chapter through social media and the chapter's website for more information on upcoming events and initiatives.
