UNCF and Disney Has A New Scholarship Program For HBCU Students.

A groundbreaking partnership aims to expand access, opportunity, and support for the next generation of Black leaders.

UNCF (United Negro College Fund) and The Walt Disney Company are partnering to support students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through the newly launched Disney UNCF Scholars Program.

Arnika Jackson, Director of UNCF’s Student Professional Development Programs, shared the announcement on Voices in the Streets, highlighting the program’s focus on reducing financial barriers and providing mentorship, career development, and networking opportunities.

The program is offered in collaboration with Disney brands including Andscape, FX, and National Geographic, all focused on helping students explore opportunities in media and entertainment. Applications are now open and will close on October 31, 2025 at midnight. To learn more and apply, visit uncf.org.
