Monteria Robinson had waited 5 years for what occurred late Tuesday afternoon inside the Fulton County Courthouse in Atlanta, GA. Indictments were returned against law enforcement officials in the 2016 death of her 26 year old son Jamarion.
Indicted today were Clayton County police officer Kristopher Hutchens and U.S. Marshal's Assistant Chief Inspector Eric Heinze. Hutchens was working as a Task Force officer. Heinze is with the Fugitive Task Force. They were indicted on the charges felony murder, burglary, aggravated assault, violation of oath by a public officer, and making false statements.
The following video was posted to Facebook this afternoon by social activist Dre Normando Love.
Supporters, many who have been by Robinson's side since her son Jamarion Robinson was gunned down by Atlanta police and U.S. Marshals on August 5, 2016, had waited on the courthouse steps since Monday. That's when a grand jury started going over the case to determine if anyone should be held accountable in the death of Robinson. Activist Love says "I'm feeling so happy, excited. It's been 5 years since I heard about Jamarion and I've been
with the family since then. It's exciting to see a black family get justice."

Robinson was shot 76 times during an attempted fugitive arrest. Law enforcement claimed they were acting to apprehend a person believed to have fired shots at officers and ran away.
