Atlanta Ride for Kids to fight childhood cancer

Metro Atlantans will be going the extra mile when they participate in the Atlanta Ride for Kids. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is hosting the Ride for Kids in Buford on September 18.

PBTF spokesman Michael Battaglia says pediatric cancer deserves more attention and a greater investment in the development of new treatments and resources.

According to Battaglia everyone who registers with the minimum $40 donation will be eligible to receive a Ride for Kids T-shirt and pin. They will also be given the opportunity to fundraise and a chance to win one of several new Hondas.

The Atlanta Ride for Kids is on Sunday, September 18, 10:30AM at Peachtree Pointe, in Buford, GA.
