
Friends vividly remember former Audacy Atlanta (92.2 The Game) sports host Hugh Douglas proudly talking about his son Hugh, and how he wanted him to attend Morehouse College. At the time the younger Hugh was a student at Atlanta's PACE Academy.
Today, the elder Hugh, is taking to social media telling the world about missing his son. The legendary Hall of Fame player with the Philadelphia Eagles saying in a post 'you were already a better man than me'.

A freshman at Morehouse College in Atlanta, young Hugh was killed in a car accident Monday in East Point, just outside Atlanta. He and roommate Christion Files, Jr. died in the single vehicle accident, which authorities say happened when the auto slammed into a power pole and overturned. It occurred shortly after 5 p.m. in the area of Church Street and Linwood Avenue.
Morehouse confirmed the deaths in a press release stating "their loss is deeply felt by all of us in the Morehouse family." School officials say support is available for students through counseling services and the Student Mental Health Center at Brazeal House.
Douglas and Files were both members of the Morehouse Class of 2025.
