As the guilty verdicts continue to reverberate through the minds of many, so do the actions of the defense lawyers during the trial of the 3 men found responsible for the death of Ahmaud Arbery.

Tricia 'CK' Hoffler, the well known Atlanta-based legal expert and immediate past president of the National Bar Association calls the defense performance during the trial 'aweful'. "They had disgraced my profession virtually from the inception" of the trial" says Hoffler.

The CEO of the CK Hoffler Firm tells Audacy Atlanta's Maria Boynton that she wouldn't be surprised if a legal complaint is filed against the lawyers that represented covicted killers Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael, and William "Roddie" Bryan. Notably she points to the continued complaints by attorney Kevin Gough about black ministers being inside the courtroom. As for attorney Laura Hogue describing the deceased Ahmaud Arbery as having "long and dirty toenails", Hoffler says it was "unconscionable, despicable, oppressive, unprofessional, uncalled for and unethical."
