Although it's a rainy Wednesday in Georgia, Gabriel Sterling with the Secretary of State's office still expects a stream of voters to cast early ballots today.

"I don't know if we'll get up to 300,000 because of the rain today, but we're definitely gonna get over a quarter-million," says Sterling. He expects to break one-million votes total, since Saturday, by the end of the day. "

As of 10:30 et this morning 900,000 votes had been cast in the December 6 Runoff Election between incumbent U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and challenger Herschel Walker.

According to Sterling, county election workers are "processing people at record speeds." He advises voters to visit the Secretary of State's Website before they head to the polls, and "manage your time, investigate," as some areas have voting wait times on their websites.

Sterling adds, "I'm really proud of our voters who are facing lines, especially in the metro area, to get out and make their voice heard."
