On Point with Juandolyn Stokes had an exclusive interview with The White House. Joelle Gamble, Deputy Assistant to the President and the Deputy Director at National Economic Council joined the show to tout President Biden's October jobs report which according to the Biden Administration, "proves his economic plan is working".
The unemployment rate is currently under 4%, according to Gamble.
In October, 150,000 jobs were created in the United States; 14 million jobs since President Biden took office.
"We have a lot of good news in the economy," said Gamble.
According to Gamble, job growth is measured month-to-month which is now 200,000 in the last three months.
Apparently, President Biden's economy is working according to plan because "inflation is falling, and the economy is growing; We want to see wages coming up." Gamble said.
Another goal of the President is trying to lower the cost of the long-term inflation reduction act including lowering energy and prescription cost.
Job growth has been strongest in the areas of construction, manufacturing, engineering, and leisure services like hospitality.
