Dr. David Jackson shares with Stokes that he had mixed feelings about Biden's decision to remove troops from Afghanistan. He goes on to say this action is seen as a repeat of Vietnam and will be viewed as Biden's Vietnam, although it is a situation he inherited.
Jackson explained The U.S. attempt to implement Democratic values on a Islamic State with Sharia Law will never work. He tells Stokes religious values and government combined are common in the Islamic Faith, while in the U.S, we have a separation of Church and State. Jackson says The Taliban see themselves as purist, who are working uphold Sharia Law.
