Collier shares with Boazman that with schools starting as early as this week that COVID-19 should be on everyone's mind. He says that in addition to the Delta Varient, there is a new kid in town - the Lambda Varient - and its quite the bully.
Collier stresses how important it is to get your vaccine while you still can. He shares that he spoke with a family that is against getting the vaccine, despite having members of the family study medicine to ease their fears. Collier reminds listeners that the vaccine lessens your chance of getting the virus, and lessens the severity including hopitalization and death.
Collier touches base on booster shots and shares that people who currently have two shot vaccines and are fully vaccinated do not need a booster shot. He goes on to say the vaccines work wonderfully and have a 95% efficacy rate.
