Jalon Walker carted off Falcons practice field with apparent injury
As training camps continue around the NFL and teams deal with players suffering injuries, the Atlanta Falcons may have suffered what could be a significant loss as second-year edge rusher Jalon Walker was carted off the practice field with an apparent leg injury.
“Just not what we need right now at this point,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he and cohost Mike Bell reacted to news of Walker’s injury, which some reports fear to be a torn ACL. “You hope that’s he’s going to be okay and he gets some good news from the doctors and that’s all we can hang our hat on, but we’ve seen enough of this to know it’s probably not good,” Bell said.
Walker, who was drafted by the Falcons with the 15th overall pick in the 2025 Draft, is scheduled to have an MRI to confirm the status of his injury. He finished his rookie season with 24 solo tackles (36 total), five and a half sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.Falcons edge rusher Jalon Walker suffers injury in practice
