Falcons Week 2 starter still to be determined
The Atlanta Falcons returned to Flowery Branch on Wednesday to being preparing for the Carolina Panthers and during his press conference ahead of practice, head coach, Kevin Stefanski, announced the team has not decided who will be the starting quarterback. “How can you hold a press conference for 15 minutes and say absolutely nothing,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he and cohost Mike Bell reacted to Stefanski’s announcement.
“That’s what happened today with Kevin Stefanski and Atlanta, we still don’t have an answer,” Dukes said as he explained why there is frustration with the Falcons in regards to their quarterback situation. “I am so frustrated right now with the way this whole thing is being handled,” Dukes continued as he shared why he believes the Falcons failed to provide “clarity” in regards to who will be the Week 2 starter.
“I think anybody right now following this football team is saying ‘just give us a little clarity’. If it’s Cooper Rush, great, if it’s Tua [Tagovailoa], great, if its [Michael] Penix Jr., great.
