Falcons defense tasked with limiting Derrick Henry's impact
With momentum on their side, the Atlanta Falcons will look to win their third consecutive game on Sunday when they host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. And while the Ravens announcing, quarterback, Lamar Jackson, will be held out as he continues to deal with an ankle injury, Atlanta’s defense may still have their hands full as Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic explained.
“The last game Tyler Huntley started, it was in Lambeau Field last December, two days after Christmas. Derrick Henry has 36 carries, which was his career high,” Zrebiec said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained why he believes the Falcons run defense, which leads the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed per game (48.3), will be tested by the Ravens’ All-Pro running back.
“I don’t know that you’re getting 36 carries Sunday, and I’m sure a lot of it is depending on the game flow. If they’re trailing, they’re obviously not going to be able to run as much, but yes, there will be a heavy dose of Derrick Henry,” Zrebiec said.Falcons' top run defense faces big test
