Falcons will to challenge hampered Caleb Williams
The Atlanta Falcons will host the Chicago Bears on Sunday and both teams will enter the game with similar situations as both of their respective starting quarterbacks have been dealing with injuries, as Atlanta’s Michael Penix Jr. suffered a rib injury in the Falcons loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week and Chicago’s Caleb Williams has not played since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2.
And while Penix Jr. will be suiting up on Sunday for Atlanta, the Bears currently have Williams listed as questionable to play. “It sounds like he’s trending to play,” CBS NFL analyst and two-time Super Bowl champion, Bryant McFadden said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell to discuss the status of Williams.
“If he does play, how comfortable is he. Will there be any hesitation?” McFadden continued as he explained why Williams can be dangerous to defense against due to his playmaking ability with his legs when healthy. “So, will there be any hesitation for him? Can he do the Caleb Williams things that we saw before the injury,” McFadden asked.Falcons will look to test Caleb Williams early
