It’s becoming no secret that the vibe around Flowery Branch and the Atlanta Falcons this year is completely different. The reason for the change is head coach Raheem Morris and his staff’s infectious energy and passion they’re bringing everyday. Up-and-coming star receiver Drake London joined Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan after practice and explained how this year is a "180-degree flip" from 2023.

“It’s a big difference," London said. "I think it’s a 180-degree flip you know, you have fun coming in the building, you have fun working, and you can just see it on all the guys’ faces when they come in here, even the coaches. We go in here, we work, we know what we’re in here for, and we have fun doing it, so that’s all that really matters.”

Knowing you’re going into the season with better quarterback play without a doubt raises team morale, and makes the vibe better around the facility and the practice field, but It’s not a hot take to say Arthur Smith and Raheem Morris have very different personalities.

While both guys seem to be good coaches in their own respect, at this point after hearing what London and other players have had to say about their new head coach and how he’s changed the vibe for the better it seems like Morris’ personality is better suited for this Falcons team than Smith's was.
