Just like any and all NFL teams the Atlanta Falcons have needs heading into Thursday’s NFL Draft, but earlier today Atlanta Falcons beat writer for The Athletic Josh Kendall joined The Morning Shift, and explained why he thinks the Falcons can have "flexibility" with what position they draft first.

“I think that this team did a pretty good job in free agency of filling the glaring holes well enough that they don’t have to take any certain position with that first pick, which gives them some flexibility.” Josh Kendall said

The acquisitions Falcons General Manager Ian Cunningham made during free agency has left Atlanta in a spot where they can either stay put at 48, or maybe even trade back and acquire more draft picks, so even though the Falcons don’t have a first round pick in this year’s draft they still find themselves having the “flexibility” to draft best play available at 48 or possibly make a move to trade up or back if they so choose.
