“This situation has to get better,” Dukes said as he explained understanding the frustrations being expressed by Falcons’ fans calling for change within the organization. “This is as bad as it’s been and the reason it’s bas Atlanta is because now we have a situation where we don’t know the future of Michael Penix [Jr.],” Dukes continued as he and Bell discussed the Falcons quarterback being placed on the injured reserve list.
“With that news, you have a lot of decisions Mike that we have to make as a fanbase, but more importantly, Mr. Blank, somebody call him today, somebody text him, somebody tell him to listen to this radio show, because most of this is going to be for Arthur Blank,” Dukes said as he shared why he believes there need to be some “change” within the Falcons organization in order for things to get better.
“The coach has to got to go, the GM has got to go but I guess you could make the argument if you moved on from the coach right now to send a message to the fanbase, who’s taking over as the interim anyway,” Bell said as he made his case for the Falcons to move on from Raheem Morris, however noted the uncertainty of his replacement gives reason for pause. “Fans want somebody’s butt out the door right now,” Bell said.
